Chrissy Teigen is known for speaking her mind on Twitter.

But when the model addressed everything going on with Amanda Bynes, the former child star's responses seemed ready to ignite a full-on Twitter war if Teigen wanted one.

She didn't, and while cohosting E! News today with Jason Kennedy, Teigen explained why she had addressed Bynes' situation on the social media site.

"I feel like, I'm always very outspoken, but it goes without saying, I think there's a problem here," Chrissy said. "Something's wrong and I just loved her. I loved her so much and I was rooting for her for so long, and what's happening now is wrong. And I think social media is really a bad point for her right now, so I felt the need to say it."

After Bynes chose to slam the celeb, followers of John Legend's soon-to-be wife began to attack back, and that was the toughest part for Teigen.

"The hard part after was seeing them [followers] trying to defend me, and I don't need that. I mean, it's fine. I was fine with her comment. That was the hard part afterwards," she told us.
