"I only smoke tobacco I don't drink or do drugs. I've never had a bong in my life!" she tweeted Friday evening. "I need to get another nose job after seeing my mugshot! :D"
The 26-year-old was arrested last night and has been charged with reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and marijuana possession after, according to police, she threw a bong out of a window after officers spied it in her apartment while responding to a call about a disorderly person.
Prosecutors asked for $1,000 bail, but Bynes was released from custody today on her own recognizance after appearing in court.
Though this is her first time commenting on what went down, this isn't Bynes' first post-arrest tweet: She started earlier by retweeting a fan's photo of her wearing a bra, but deleted the post a short time later.
Her comment about not drinking reiterates what she tweeted nearly a year ago when she was busted on suspicion of DUI: "I don't drink so the DUI is false."
