Michelle Obama certainly knows how to work a room!

In this case, it was a kindergarten classroom at Savoy Elementary School in Washington D.C., where the patrons were, well, pint-size.

The first lady paid a visit to the youngsters, brightening their day with some silly dance moves performed in unison and imparting an important message about hard work and perseverance.

According to the Huffington Post, Obama encouraged the kiddos to "try new things and not be afraid to fail, because we have all failed," and referenced Kerry Washington (also in the audience), as a shining example of strong will and determination.

The visit most certainly made a big impact on the school, which is located in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the city.

We have to say, the FLOTUS never ceases to inspire us all.
