The Boy Scouts of America voted yesterday to end their policy banning gay youths from joining the organization.

But a ban of gay scout leaders and anyone over the age of 18 remains in place. According to Boy Scouts of America national commissioner Tico Perez, that's not going to change.

"This resolution today dealt with youth. We have not changed our adult membership standards," Tico said. "They have served us well for the last 100 years. Those were not on the table."

Celebrities took to Twitter to express their feelings about this partial step towards equality.
