Catherine Zeta-Jones is getting back into the swing of things.

The Side Effects star was photographed returning home to her New York City apartment after dropping her daughter off at school on Tuesday—the first time she's been seen out and about since checking out of a medical facility where she was treated again for bipolar II disorder.

Zeta-Jones, 43, looked healthy, wearing sunglasses and her hair pulled back in a bun, as she sat behind the wheel of her car.

While the actress resumed normal family life, her 68-year-old husband, Michael Douglas, meanwhile was at the Cannes Film Festival to hype Behind the Candelabra, his new HBO biopic about Liberace. The thesp also told reporters that playing the piano maestro was a "beautiful gift" given that he was offered the role immediately after beating throat cancer.

We're glad to hear life is looking up for the Hollywood couple.
