Demi Lovato Recalls Being "Really Mad" at Joe Jonas Post-Split, but Says They Now "Have a Great Friendship"

Despite breaking up in 2010, singer views her ex as family

All's well that ends well.

At least that's the sense one gets upon hearing Demi Lovato talk about her ex, Joe Jonas.

While the "Heart Attack" singer admits during an interview with ABC's Nightline that she was "really mad at him" following their split in 2010, the two are apparently now good friends.

"I can fortunately say that him, and his brother Nick, have always been there for me and are literally family, and like brothers...we have a great friendship. And we may not be as close as we used to be, but that's OK," Lovato says.

And Jonas certainly proved he and Lovato are indeed still pals when he tweeted the following on May 14.

"Congrats @ddlovato on the new record!" Jonas wrote. "So happy for you!"
