Angelina Jolie's got a fan in Zoe Saldana.

At the Hollywood premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness Tuesday, the sci-fi leading lady praised Jolie's preventive decision to get a double mastectomy.

"If she were here, I would just say thank you for being so brave," the 34-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight. "And [know] that by sharing your personal experience you're going to empower and inspire a lot of women that are victims of cancer right now to heal and to survive."

In fact, Saldana described Brad Pitt's lady love as "the ultimate badass!"

And director J.J. Abrams noted that the 37-year-old star's candor about a difficult situation has " taken away any kind of shame or uncomfortable-ness that people might have in people discussing it."

Clearly, Tinseltown is proud of Jolie for informing so many about a potentially lifesaving way to be proactive about their health.
