Pregnant Penélope Cruz Visits New-Mom Sister in Madrid Hospital

Doting sister was also by her sibling's side while she was in labor

Looks like pregnant Penélope Cruz is ready to pop!

The stunning star—who is expecting her second child with hubby Javier Bardem—was snapped visiting sister Monica at the hospital in Madrid, where her younger sibling gave birth to a baby girl Tuesday.

Cruz was joined by her hubby and brother Eduardo for the hospital visit. The doting sister was reportedly by her sibling's side yesterday while Monica was in labor.

Monica turned to an anonymous sperm donor to get pregnant after fearing it would be "too late for motherhood" by the time she found her perfect partner.

But it looks like Monica may have already found her constant companion in Penélope, who is clearly committed to helping her sister adjust to life as a new mom. 

After Penélope's prenancy was reported, a source told E! News the Oscar winner was particularly excited about baby No. 2 because of her sister's simultaneous bun in the oven.
