Chris Brown is paying tribute to Aaliyah with a new track that will feature the late R&B star.

Breezy announced the news at the BET nominations press conference on Tuesday, saying the song titled "They Don't Know," will be the next single off his forthcoming album, X. It will features rare, unreleased vocals from Aaliyah, who died tragically in a plane crash in August, 2001.

Brown's sampling comes after his rap rival Drake, a big admirer of the songstress, produced and appeared on a new Aaliyah track called "Enough Said."

The 24-year-old "Run It" singer shot the music video for the tune over the weekend on roofop in Compton, Calif.

"I'm bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I'm from. I'm from Virginia, but everybody comes from a broken home or being broke—I remember when I was," Brown told reporters about his choice of location.

X is scheduled to drop on July 16 and along with Aaliyah features guest appearances from the likes of Nicki Minaj among others.
