Ricky Gervais fans, rejoice!

The British comic is once again resurrecting David Brent, the seminal character he played on the original BBC version of The Office—this time for a new Internet series, Learn Guitar With David Brent.

And looking at the mock lesson Gervais gives in a promo clip that just premiered on his YouTube channel, would-be guitarists out there shouldn't expect to be shredding it anytime soon.

"OK, you wanna learn to play guitar. OK? Well, I'm not going to teach you. What? You're going to teach you. He's gone mad! I've always been mad," Gervais jokes in the teaser while sitting alone against a black background holding an acoustic guitar.

The funnyman then launches into  a song about his profession, "repping." The clip is aimed at hyping the first episode of Learn Guitar, which kicks off on May 20 and subsequent episodes will follow as part of YouTube's inaugural Comedy Week.

The last time Gervais trotted out Mr. Brent was for the U.K.'s edition of Comic Relief, which featured a mini-episode titled The Office Revisited and a hilariously pretentious music video of his alter ego performing the song "Equality Street."
