Sure the weather is warming up but that doesn't mean stars are ready to ditch their trousers quite yet. So Instead of hiking up their hemlines celebs such as Diane Kruger, Nicole Richie and Gwen Stefani have upgraded their basic bottoms to brightly patterned slacks.
First, Nicole turned heads in a elegant grey version. Then, yesterday Gwen paired her patterned slacks with bright yellow heels and just a few hours later Diane showed up to an event in a eye-catching Prabal Gurung pants paired with Jimmy Choo heels.
The fad has even hopped the pond. Last week Pippa Middleton was snapped in a fun Alice by Temperly pair.
Unlike leather leggings or denim, the almost pajama-like styles are made from light, silky fabrics which look downright breezy. Plus, it also helps that celebs are pairing them with airy crop tops and tanks. Of course, these crazy pants are just the latest example of the wild prints trend, which has been dominating red carpets in 2013.
