Phillip Lim Designing Fall Collection for Target—Get a Sneak Peek at the Line!

Celeb designer working on a budget-friendly line for the mega store

Target has just announced that it will collaborating with Phillip Lim on a fall collection. The New York City-based designer's limited-edition line will hit stores on Sept. 15.

 

This will be the third major designer to create a budget-friendly line for the mega brand this year, following Prabal Gurung and Kate Young.

"What interests me about this opportunity was making it a wardrobe for the modern day citizen," the designer revealed in a behind-the-scenes video about the collaboration. "I always believe that everyday is an opportunity to kind of create the day and set the mood. That's why it's important to have a wardrobe that addresses seven days a week, 24 hours a day."

The collection with feature over a 100 items for both men and women—including accessories!—all ranging between $20 to $300.

So mark you're calendars guys and gals, come September you might be racing celebrities such as Selena Gomez and Lauren Conrad down the aisles of Target ensure you snag these designer duds.
