And last night nearly everyone in Hollywood took advantage of the style. Elegant LBDs with strategically placed side and belly cutouts reigned supreme on Carey Mulligan and Alexa Chung. While others celebs such as Miranda Kerr, Dakota Fanning and Emma Watson went for sexy dresses so similar you'd have to do a double take to be sure they weren't the same thing.
Beyond the not-so-basic black numbers there were a few pops of color from Nicki Minaj, Olivia Wilde and Rita Ora.
With all the different gowns and cutouts one fact remains true: The ladies of Hollywood all have fab abs.
