Casting woes for the upcoming Western drama Jane Got a Gun may wind up being a good thing for Star Wars fans.

Ewan McGregor is now in talks to replace Bradley Cooper, who was forced to bow out of the flick due to scheduling conflicts, Deadline reports.

Cooper had stepped in to play the movie's villain after Jude Law opted to walk away from the project in the wake of director Lynn Ramsay deciding she no longer wanted to be at the helm. The film is now being directed by Gavin O'Connor.

Of course, if McGregor does in fact sign on, it will reunite him with Natalie Portman, his costar in the three Star Wars prequels, as well as Joel Edgerton, who appeared in Episode II and Episode III of the franchise.

Here's hoping there's not another disturbance in the Force with casting this time around.
