The CNN host has reportedly become the latest celebrity swatting victim.
According to the New York Post, police were sent to Cooper's home in Quiogue, Long Island, last month after receiving a 911 call claiming that a man had shot his wife there.
However, authorities quickly learned it was a prank upon arriving at the residence.
Cooper himself was not there at the time.
Other stars who have been swatted in recent months include Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez, Ryan Seacrest, Ashton Kutcher and Miley Cyrus.
