When the Fashion Star host shared an Instagram of blondish extensions and a pot of hair dye earlier today, we figured she'd debut lighter locks at the 2013 Met Gala. And she definitely didn't disappoint, going as light as possible with head turning gray 'do.
But this isn't your granny's gray. On the contrary, the Fashion Star host embraced the gala's punk theme by spray painting her hair silver for the evening and piling it atop her head in a gravity-defying updo.
Her silver strands coordinated perfectly with her elegantly embroidered Topshop column gown, but stood out pretty dramatically against her olive skin and wine colored lips.
It felt a little more goth than punk to us, but we love that she took a risk.
