Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Ryan Seacrest, Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson, American Idol 12

At the beginning of this season of American Idol, judge Randy Jackson announced that this would be the season of the ladies. Turns out, he was right (convenient much?). But if next year were up to Jackson, he would make the show an all-male party!

When we chatted with Jackson last night after the show about Harry Connick Jr. being approached to join the show next season, it seems like he'd be more than fine with continuing without Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj and adding more testosterone.

"[Harry would] make a great judge. He'd be amazing," Jackson tells E! News. "We were just talking about this. What about an all-male panel? It'd be different. Unique."

That would mean Keith Urban, Jackson and Connick would be the judges next season, but Randy thinks they need one more, and he already has someone in mind.

"Gordon Ramsay! Why not?" he laughs. So another angry Brit? Maybe that's what Idol has been missing.
