Seeing how their grandfather is Lionel Richie and daddy is Joel Madden, it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that Nicole Richie's kids enjoy a tune or two.
"They both love music," the Fashion Star mentor says during an appearance on Friday's Ellen about Harlow, 5, and Sparrow, 3.
In fact, when it comes to her littlest one, she says it's very much like father, like son.
"He likes to do shows for us and then once he's done with the show, he gets on a step stool and he likes to have meet and greets," Richie tells Ellen DeGeneres. "I actually work out of my house, so everybody that works in the house has to go downstairs in the kitchen. Joel's his bodyguard and Joel says he's very busy and he stands on his little stool and he goes, 'I'm very busy, but nice to meet you.'"
Richie continues, "And we go stand in line and we shake his hand and you take a picture with him. And that's his game that he likes to play every day."
