Fresh from looking fabulous at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C., Perry was in Manhattan Tuesday for some retail therapy on the arm of stylist and America's Next Top Model photo-shoot director Johnny Wujek.
Perry's girly-meets-tough ensemble, from the floral jacket and pretty pink purse to the flat-heeled boots, was just right for a day of strolling through the city on a still-chilly spring day.
And what's a little casual bragging among Twitter followers?
"Today my friend Tommy Hilfiger took me shoe shopping," Perry wrote along with a rearview twitpic of her and the famed designer.
Earlier in the day, Wujek fielded a fashion question from a fan about his superstar client: "'@katybazuca: @JohnnyWujek Do you get inspired by something when gonna dress Katy to a event?' Absolutely. Everything inspires me."
And who knows what sort of inspiration NYC offered today!
