Pretty Little Liars star Tyler Blackburn is set to join ABC Family's highly-anticipated spinoff Ravenswood as a series regular, the network announced on Tuesday.
"BREAKING NEWS: @tylerjblackburn is headed to the #PLL spin-off series @RavenswoodABCF," Ravenswood's official Twitter account tweeted. Blackburn is the first actor to be cast on the new series.
Blackburn plays Caleb Rivers, Hanna's (Ashley Benson) boyfriend, on Pretty Little Liars; he will still appear on the show when it returns for its fourth season on June 11.
The spinoff, which is being helmed by PLL mastermind Marlene King, centers on the cursed town of Ravenswood, where five strangers will find themselves connected by the fatal curse and will work together to dig into the town's mysterious and terrible history before it's too late.
Ravenswood is set to debut on ABC Family this October.
