Looking fierce, LeAnn Rimes.

The singer revealed the art for her upcoming album Spitfire today, which features a sexy black and white photo of LeAnn looking serious (while touseling her hair for effect), and she announced that fans can snag her latest release on June 4.

So what kind of music can we expect from the celeb?

"This album is a peek into my world; who I am, what I've gone through, what my emotions are," Rimes said in a statement. "It's an intimate conversation between me and whoever's listening. I hope I'm saying things that are hard for others to express.

"It certainly took me a lot of work to get to this point. And it's still easier to sing these thoughts than it is to say them out loud. The intimacy in my music is just beginning."

And no, Rimes doesn't blast her longtime feuding partner Brandi Glanville through song (sorry, Jimmy Kimmel, there is no track titled "Burn in Hell Real Housewives" on there), but she did use her experiences with the matter, along with other events in her life, as inspiration.

"Spitfire covers a range of emotions that I've experienced in my lifetime, from anger to love, from frustrations to letting go," she said, adding that she and music producer Darrell Brown "talked about telling that story in chronological order, but that didn't work sonically, so he said, ‘It's the truth…in no particular order.' And isn't that what life is about?"

The album also features special appearances by Matchbox 20' Rob Thomas, Jeff Beck, Alison Krauss and Dan Tyminski.
