NGRE/AKM-GSIJessica Simpson's baby girl is already a year old!
Simpson and about 50 guests gathered together to celebrate Maxwell's first birthday at the Fashion Star judge's house earlier today, E! News can exclusively report.
"The party was planned by Mindy Weiss and held in the backyard of Jessica's new Hidden Hills home," a source tells us. "She was excited to celebrate Maxwell's birthday there and show off her new house."
The source adds that "the party was very much a children's party and there were lots of different activities to choose from. They had a coloring table and face painting and lots of kids were playing with beach balls on the grass. The food was all set up at different stands scattered throughout the yard. There were hot dogs, lemonade and lots of different types of candy."
When she wasn't enjoying the bash, the adorable Maxwell was spending quality time with her daddy, Eric Johnson.
"Eric was super hands-on with Maxwell and holding her for most of the party," a source tells E! News. "He also pushed her around on a little push car."
