Dierks Bentley and Wife Expecting Third Child

Nashville star reveals he and his missus will be expanding their brood in the coming months

Dierks Bentley is going to be a daddy again.

The country music star announced on Twitter that he and his wife Cassidy are expecting their third child this fall.

"So my wife an I will be changing our family defensive strategy come the fall. Switching from MAN-to-MAN to ZONE. #3! Advice @thetimmcgraw?" he wrote Wednesday in a funny football-themed tweet that sought some parental wisdom from fellow crooner Tim McGraw.

Dierks and Cassidy tied the knot in Mexico in 2005 and have two daughters, 4-year-old Evelyn, aka Evie, and 2-year-old Jordan.

A number of Bentley's followers continued the pigskin metaphor in congratulating the couple, including none other than McGraw, who offered a little coaching guidance for the "Settle for a Slowdown" singer: "Hey @DierksBentley, with all girls so far you might do best to just join the offense!!...congrats on #3."
