At least in the case of the lovely Christina Hendricks, who debuted a sassy cropped cut this week at the BAFTA New York City celebration of season six of Mad Men at The Harvard Club.
The redhead showed off a shorter, chin-length bob and side-swept bangs, that showcased her gorgeous features and gave off a fresh look for spring.
We especially love this chic style on Hendricks because it draws the eye up and really accentuates her classic retro-glam beauty at its best.
To note, shorter cuts are all the rage this season, as evidenced by the popular bob trend currently sweeping the stars including Jamie-Lynn Spears, Jennifer Lawrence, Rita Ora, Nikki Reed and many, many more.
Looks like long locks are so last season.
