Madonna's brother is behind bars.

Anthony Ciccone, who revealed in October 2011 that he had been homeless for a year and a half after losing his job, was arrested late Sunday after a drunken struggle with a police officer who was trying to get him to leave a bathroom at the local civic center, according to Michigan's Traverse City Record-Eagle.

Traverse City Police Capt. Brian Heffner told the newspaper that Ciccone, 56, "pulled away, turned around and confronted the female officer in an aggressive manner. She turned him around and brought him to the ground, which is when he struck his face on the bathroom floor."

Ciccone reportedly needed nine stitches to close up a cut on his forehead. Heffner said that tests performed at Munson Medical Center showed his blood-alcohol level to be 0.40, which is five times' the level that is considered intoxicated in Michigan.

Per police, there had already been a warrant out for Ciccone's arrest stemming from an alleged trespassing incident in March when he refused to leave a local bookstore. He was arraigned Monday on the trespassing charge and is being held without bond in Traverse County Jail.

Ciccone has not been officially charged for Sunday's alleged altercation but authorities predicted that a felony count of resisting and obstructing a police officer is possible.

He reportedly told the Michigan Messenger in 2011, "You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times—why my sister is a multibazillionarie, and I'm homeless on the street?"

Anthony is one of six Ciccone siblings. Madonna is the third-oldest behind him and brother Martin.
