LeAnn Rimes is looking and feeling better than ever.

After a painful divorce, controversial marriage to Eddie Cibrianhighly publicized feud with Brandi Glanville and even a stint in rehab, the country star's crazy life is calming down.

With a healthy new figure and a happy outlook on life, the 30-year-old star says she's finally feeling secure and comfortable in her own skin.

"People said I was [anorexic]," she tells the Daily Mail, referring to her pin thin frame which spurred rampant eating disorder rumors. "But I didn't have a problem with eating as I ate a ton all the time – I could eat my husband under the table! But I was going through a time when I just wasn't sleeping – my mind wouldn't shut off and my heart was breaking."

But after putting on a few healthy pounds, Rimes says she's still content with her body because of her hubby's loving encouragement.

"Now I'm secure about my body, although I'm like any other woman and have my moments of self doubt. But it's nice to have a husband who tells you you're beautiful all the time. I'll say to him: 'I've gained a few pounds' and he'll say: 'Good!'" LeAnn says of her doting husband.

"It just gives you another level of confidence," she adds. "But being in this business, I've noticed that image-wise it's definitely worse for a woman."

No surprise there. And not only has Rimes received rampant tabloid criticism but she's also been bullied on social media—her highly publicized feud with Glanville often plays out on Twitter.

"I have considered staying off [social media],' she admits, "But I've basically just learned to deal with the criticism. The people who do it hide behind a computer screen and don't even show themselves and it's interesting to have people judge you but have no idea about who you really are and what you're all about."

You're looking great, LeAnn. Let the haters hate.
