JWoww is going from reality TV star to bona fide television actress!

In case you hadn't heard, the former Jersey Shore star has landed a recurring role on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live, which returns March 29.

"I originally found it pretty hysterical and I was like, ‘Oh my god, it would be awful,'" JWoww, who plays a bartender on the show, told us this weekend at the Logo NewNowNext Awards in Hollywood. "But now I'm madly in love with it. I'm totally obsessed. I want to live, die, get killed, come back as my evil sister."

The 27-year-old admits she was totally freaked out on the first day of shooting. "I was like s--tting my pants," she laughed. "I was so nervous."

As for getting into the groove of acting, JWoww dished, "I think the best way to learn is being on like a soap opera. It's like a crash course. They do an episode a day. It's just like they're on it and I'm dealing with actors and actresses that have been around for 20, 30 years that just give me great pointers. It's like going to school. I find it amazing."

JWoww says she'd "love to" do more acting outside of the soap. "I'm bad at learning lines," she admitted. "So if I could figure out a way to learn lines, I would do much better."

"She would be great as a mute actress," JWoww's fiancé Roger Mathews chimed in.

"Dead," she said, adding, "I'd play a mean dead person. I could be on Law & Order any day as a dead person. It's my favorite show! It's my favorite. A dead body."
