Dallas Star Jordana Brewster's New Shorter Hair Was Inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie

The dark-haired beauty explains why she cut off a good amount of her flowing locks

Jordana Brewster hasn't pulled a Miley Cyrus and hacked off most of her hair, but she's definitely gone shorter.

The Dallas star recently cut off 6 inches of her dark locks.

"I've always admired Nicole Richie and Gwyneth Paltrow for what they do with their hair," Brewster told me at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday.

"I actually had to go to my hairdresser twice," she said. "The first time, I was PMS-ing and I said, 'I want to go shorter,' and she was like, 'No, I'm not going to do that.' But the next day, I still wanted to do it. So we did it."

Brewster is even thinking of going shorter. "It's kind of like an addiction," she said. "Maybe I want to get a bob."

Or maybe not, she quickly added, "because I think a bob would not be cute on me."
