Kim Zolciak is living the dream.

The Bravo star has four beautiful children, an "incredible husband" and a killer career, but things haven't always been so blissful for the sassy reality star.

So when the blond beauty caught up with fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart at the Bravo upfronts, she couldn't help but show support for her costar, who is currently in the midst of a nasty (and much-buzzed about) divorce from former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart

"I said to her, 'You know I wouldn't wish a divorce upon my worst enemy.' You know it's just so painful and so hard and I did tell her and I do believe that everything happens for a reason…Marriage requires work and you both have to be very committed to the marriage," she told E! News while promoting season 2 of her hit show Don't Be Tardy, which premieres April 16.

Kim continued, explaining how topics such as children—a strong point of contention for Porsha and Kordell—should be discussed before tying the knot.

"But I think things like having children, you know they had discussed on Housewives having children and who's going to raise the children and sometimes I think people should have these conversations before they do get married."

But despite Porsha and Kordell's troubles, Kim says her fellow Atlanta friend is doing her best to stay strong:

"She's a beautiful girl. I unfortunately had to go through a divorce...but it brought me to where I am today, and I thankful for that, and that's basically what I told her. I said ‘You know God has a plan for you and everything happens for a reason so just stay strong'... I know that she is remaining strong and continuing to move forward and she will be OK."

As for Kim's "dream" marriage to her own NFL hunk Kroy Biermann

Zolciak says the twosome make it work by always putting their marriage first in the reality show world:

"We've been through some stuff in the three years we've been together, the press and the media and Kroy wasn't really involved in the media even though being an NFL player," she explains. "We put our marriage first. We had an offer to do a show recently, another show, off Bravo network, and it's just not to our highest invest for our marriage…Our marriage comes first, above and beyond anything…We communicate about things and we are very protective about our marriage. You have to be because, you know social media and all these other things, they can assume, they can make comments, they can come at you. Kroy gets tweets from women…all these people can kind of get into your world basically and we just don't allow that."

Sounds like the adorable duo have figured out the secret to marriage success, and Kim can't help but gush over her man:

"I have a dream husband. I know a lot of people say that, I know a lot of people feel that way, but I hit the lotto. I hit the biggest jackpot…He's just an incredible husband, an incredible father, he's my best friend."

Aw. We're so happy for you, Kim!
