What's it like filming a sex scene with Parks and Rec's acid-tongued Aubrey Plaza? Well, probably something like this:

"It's a very professional group of people," the star of the upcoming raunchy romp The To Do List told us during MTV Sneak Peek Week (airing all this week at 11 p.m. on MTV), before turning to costar Scott Porter. "Did you have a boner? No?"

Scott laughed, "I plead the fifth! There's no way to win that question. You'll be offended both ways!"

"We were in a safe space," Aubrey continued without missing a beat. "And it allowed us to be free."

The To Do List follows Brandy Clark (Plaza), a "type A, homework-obsessed go-getter" who decides she needs to lose her virginity before she heads off to college. Which means the movie comes packed with a lot of awkward sex scenes.

Which means the cast has a lot of awkward stories from filming those sex scenes.

"Honestly, I had a lot of moments where I was on my knees, pretending to give a blow job, things like that," Aubrey recalled. "I had moments where I'd be, 'Am I a porn star? Am I shooting a porn?' No, I'm not."

Now, if you're wondering why Aubrey and Scott signed on for such a risqué project, well, we'll let them explain:

Aubrey [joking]: "You just have to be, like, really open to like, life—"

Scott: "Don't say 'really open'..."

Aubrey: "You have to open your vagina and know that things are gonna be shoved in there in a pretend way and—wait, what?!"

When Aubrey got back on track, she continued, "It's coming from a truthful place...When I read the script, I felt like, ‘Wow, this is a movie that actually portrays a movie about a girl trying to lose her virginity for the first time. Usually you see guys doing that in movies."

Scott: "What happens when you lose your virginity for the second time?

Aubrey: "It…hurts less."

There you have it, people! The To Do List hits theaters August 16, 2013.
