Anderson Cooper and Jimmy Fallon are not only popular, they're also pretty powerful too!

At least according to The Hollywood Reporter, which put the two fellas on its list of 2013's Most Powerful People in Media based in New York.

And they're in very good company.

Among those who made the cut?

Stephen Colbert, Katie Couric, David Letterman, Howard Stern, Jon Stewart, Barbara Walters, as well as Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, and Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. Just to name a few.

In the words of the magazine, the individuals selected are "men and women who control the megawatt megaphone for Hollywood and beyond," and "their decisions, tastes and every last word drive thoughts and behaviors and set a national agenda in ways far more powerful than any 140 characters strung together ever could."
