A One Direction fan is on the mend after being hit by a truck.
The accident occurred near the Metro Arena in Newcastle prior to the boy band's concert there on Monday night.
According to the U.K.'s Daily Mirror, the 16-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after suffering minor injuries, but was later released.
A rep for One Direction confirmed the "unfortunate" incident to E! News and informed us that "the vehicle was not a 1D tour vehicle and this happened off site from the venue. There is no comment from band available."
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Metro Arena told E! News that "the girl just happened to be going to the One Direction concert."
