Avril Lavigne is looking to stay forever young.

The Canadian pop star's new single, "Here's to Never Growing Up," made its official debut on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio program this morning, and the catchy tune will no doubt get plenty of airplay.

After all, with lyrics like, "Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs/With the boombox blaring as we're falling in love," how can it not, right?

"It's just about being young and having fun, being present, living in the moment, and that's what I love to do," Lavigne told Seacrest during an in-studio appearance.

The 28-year-old singer added that she penned the track with four other artists, including her fiancé, Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.

"I wanted to write something fun and kind of like a summer song, and I feel like we nailed it," Lavigne said.

The single, which will be on Lavigne's forthcoming fifth album, is now available on iTunes.
