Redheaded royal with a heart of gold!

On April 19, Prince Harry will attend the launch of The Walking With the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge at the Mandarin Hotel in London.

At this kickoff for the fundraising competition, Harry will meet with a selection of the wounded service personnel taking part in the expedition, St. James's Palace said Monday. He'll learn from those competing in the challenge about their training program and what challenges they can expect to face. He'll also deliver a short speech.

The Walking With the Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge lasts for a period of four weeks in November and December 2013 and raises funds for military charities. The team of wounded servicemen and women twill trek across 208 miles of the Antarctic to the geographic South Pole.

Harry is a patron of this event and also worked with the organization in 2011.
