Shain Gandee has been laid to rest.

Hundreds of mourners turned out Sunday in Charleston, W. Va. for the funeral of the Buckwild star, who died tragically last week at age 21.

According to local radio station WCHS, fans of the reality star filed in to the Charleston Municipal Auditorium along with family and friends to pay their final respects to Gandee at his memorial, many heeding his relatives' call to wear camouflage in his honor.

"A lot of people would say it's the redneck thing. But that was just Shain," one friend, Glen Goff, told the station. "Shain was an outdoorsman. He loved being in the mud. He loved to hunt and fish…He was a nice guy. He never knew a stranger."

Gandee, his uncle David Gandee and Donald Myers were found dead on Monday inside the reality star's Ford Bronco that was submerged in deep mud after the trio decided to go four-wheeling the day before in Sissonville.

Per the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office, autopsies revealed the deaths were accidental, the result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

MTV, which has since halted filming on the second season of Buckwild, covered the family's funeral expenses.
