The 19-year-old pop star and Taylor Swift's tourmate Ed Sheeran took to Twitter yesterday to share mutual musical admiration for each other.

"@edsheeran hope u liked the new tunes," the Biebs tweeted yesterday.

"@justinbieber very cool direction you're taking the new stuff," Sheeran posted.

"@edsheeran thanks," Bieber replied.

Sheeran later tweeted, "Makin' some mooooosick."

Guess we'll have to wait and see if the singers' exchange spawns new tunes.
