Gwyneth Paltrow may be more about talking Goop than talking smack, but that doesn't mean she doesn't enjoy some funky beats in the kitchen.

Although, the only time she can really get down, apparently, is when hubby Chris Martin isn't home.

"He can't have background music on. It has to be 100 percent of his attention," the actress and lifestyle maven recently told London's Evening Standard Magazine. "But if he isn't at home, I turn on the hip-hop—I'm like a bad mutha rapping along to every word as I cook."

And suddenly, the close friendship with Beyoncé and Jay-Z is making even more sense...

Just yesterday, Paltrow was at the Barnes & Noble at the Grove in L.A. signing copies of her latest cookbook, It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great. (No word on whether they will also make you a more proficient rapper.)

Martin left the spotlight to his missus, but the couple were seen leaving together after the signing.
