Thanks to the magic of the movies, the roaring '20s have the soundtrack of today!

In a newly released trailer for The Great Gatsby, Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire tumultuously tear through the glitzy, ritzy northeast of years past to the sounds of  Beyoncé, André 3000, Florence and the Machine and Lana Del Ray.

The new clip for the Baz Luhrmann-directed flick flashes through all the drama and emotional outbursts in a bright, aesthetically pleasing manner. Leo (aka Jay Gatsby) even loses his temper, visibly upsetting Carey (Daisy Buchanan), who tearfully covers her mouth with her hand as her cigarette still burns.

The Great Gatsby hits theaters May 10, but to all you ninth graders out there, go ahead and read the book! The movie will be buzzy for a year or two, but you're in for a lifetime of people name-dropping F. Scott Fitzgerald.
