Sean "Diddy" Combs is the latest celeb victim of swatting.

E! News confirms police responded to a series of prank phone calls today reporting phony crimes at a Toluca Lake home which apparently belongs to the rapper

"At 10:55 a.m. officers did respond to a swatting call," LAPD Media Relations tells E! News. "There was no mass response. There were about two to three officers. Officers spoke to the resident. There were no signs of trouble."

Although TMZ originally reported the North Hollywood home belonged to actor Steve Carell, NBC4 linked the home to the record producer and TMZ has since changed their story.

The LAPD would neither confirm nor comment on the identity of the resident, but officers did say there was no celebrity present.

A 911 abuse report was completed, and there is no ongoing investigation.

Combs is the latest in a slew of celebrity swatting targets. Similar incidents have also occurred at the homes of Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher and even the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
