Looks like Shain Gandee's family might not have to worry about collecting donations to pay for his funeral.

A family source tells E! News that MTV will take care of funeral expenses for the late star of the network's Buckwild reality show. Gandee, his uncle David Gandee and Donald Myers were found dead Monday morning of carbon monoxide poisoning in a Ford Bronco submerged deep in mud in Sissonville, W. Va.
The money that had previously been donated to the family, the source says, will help cover the funerals of David Gandee and Myers, as well as the costs of the personnel used in the search for the men.

When reached by E! News, MTV had no comment on paying for Gandee's funeral.

Funeral plans should be finalized tomorrow, the source adds, but services should probably take place this weekend, most likely Sunday, because that is the only day the family can get a place big enough to accommodate Gandee's friends, family and well-wishers.
