Didn't think the idea of a Community puppet episode could get any cooler, did you? How about if it was a musical puppet episode?

We can exclusively reveal that the April 11 episode will not only feature the Greendale gang as puppets, but they will be singing original songs as well. And one of those songs was penned by none other than Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach Adam Levine.

The puppet-themed episode was announced during the Community panel at this year's PaleyFest. In it, the gang takes a balloon ride and crash into the woods, an experience that leaves them emotionally scarred. When recounting their adventures to Dean Pelton (Jim Rash), he suggests using puppets to help get them through the pain of reliving the situation, so viewers we'll see the flashbacks acted out by puppets.

Jason Alexander also guest stars in the episode as friendly mountain man. This will not be the first time Community had a musical episode. In 2011, the NBC comedy produced a Christmas-themed musical episode, with all original songs.
