Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes Rock The Place Beyond the Pines Premiere Together

Let the jealousy commence. 

Costars and real-life couple Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes posed on the red carpet together tonight at the premiere of their latest flick, The Place Beyond the Pines, at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City. 

Yes, they both looked amazing and—we'll begrudgingly admit—great together.

Gosling wore a dark velvet suit (as if we needed another reason to rub up against him), while Mendes rocked an orange Prada dress along with Prada shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Sadly, this may be one of the few times we'll see the hunky actor on the red carpet for a while since he's decided to take a break from acting—it's OK, go grab yourself a Kleenex.

"I've been doing it too much," the 32-year-old hunky actor said in a recent interview. "I've lost perspective on what I'm doing. I think it's good for me to take a break and reassess why I'm doing it and how I'm doing it. And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does."

Maybe scoring more roles oppositve Eva will change his mind.
