Looks like Tiger Woods didn't have to worry about heated competition with another pro athlete for Lindsey Vonn's affection.

A report has popped up in Us Weekly's latest issue claiming that before the champion skier and the pro golfer became an item, Vonn was fielding the romantic advances of none other than Brooklyn Nets baller Kris Humphries, and that he was "bachelor No. 2" to the blond beauty.

Fans hoping for a sporty love triangle of sorts, however, will have to look elsewhere for their gossip fix, because a source tells E! News that the claim is "totally untrue."

"Kris did not date Lindsey," our source tells us. "They were friends, but absolutely nothing more."

Of course, Woods and Vonn subsequently made quite the splash after publicly announcing their relationship earlier this month.

Guess Tiger can continue to brag about his winning streak—controversy (or rumors) notwithstanding.
