As the Supreme Court was hearing arguments this morning on Prop 8, California's ban on same-sex marriage, Hollywood celebs were feverishly weighing in on the debate through social media.
Not only have bold-faced names like Jason Mraz, Padma Lakshmi and Lance Bass changed their profile pics on Facebook to a red version of the Human Rights Campaign logo, but #marriageequality and #prop8 have been trending on Twitter since the early morning.
"today, the Supreme court is hearing 1 of the most important cases in history," Kristen Bell tweeted. "dont sleep on it #equalitymatters."
