It's not everyday you get to drive a car at 130 mph.

But that's exactly what I did on Sunday when E! News sent me to the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., for our exclusive inside look at NASCAR.

All I knew was that racing champ Clint Bowyer would be giving me a ride around the track. Little did I know that after hitting about 140 mph and showing me what a spinout feels like, Bowry would stop the car and tell me it was my turn to drive.

The look on my producer's face when he saw me behind the wheel was priceless.

Later in the day, I was pseudo-embedded with Bowyer's pit crew. After putting on a colorful 5-Hour Energy drink crew shirt, a cheery bearded young dude nicknamed Puddin (yes, Puddin) showed me around.

I was surrounded by lug nuts and tires, containers full of gasoline and a computer station that looked like it belonged on a NASA space station.

And don't forget to come back to E! Online throughout the rest of the week and watch E! News at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. for more NASCAR exclusives.
