Marion Cotillard Shows Off Edgy New Haircut

Actress promotes Rust and Bone in Japan, debuts freshly trimmed hair

Just as we were admiring Marion Cotillard's breathtaking beauty and timeless elegance in her latest Lady Dior campaign, she took our breath away again with a completely different look last night!

The French actress debuted her new 'do in Japan at the premiere of Rust and Bone. The razored bob by stylist Robert Vetica features slightly uneven bangs.

"This look was inspired by the sweet doll look that the Japanese youth are so in love with. We did a bit of trimming to freshen up the look and create the fringe," the stylist told us.

Poised and pretty in a strapless lilac design by Christian Dior, Cotillard's new hair added unexpected edge to her typical ladylike style.  

And while we're still on the fence about the look long-term, we do think it's a brave step for the stunning actress and applaud her experimental confidence.
