In the latest issue of Esquire, Hugh Hefner is asked to give a figure with regards to the number of ladies he has taken to bed.
"How I could I possibly know? Over a thousand, I'm sure," the Playboy founder says, we assume with a smile.
However, Hefner is quick to add, "There were chunks of my life when I was married, and when I was married I never cheated. But I made up for it when I wasn't married. You have to keep your hand in."
Of course, he is very much a married man at the moment, having tied the knot with 26-year-old Crystal Harris last December.
"All our friends think it's made in heaven. It's only people who don't know us who simply use us as stereotypes in terms of age and beauty," the 86-year-old newlywed says. "I just feel very, very fortunate to have found her at this stage in my life. I saved the best till last."
And seeing how many gals the guy has supposedly slept with, Crystal should probably take that last part of Hef's quote as a compliment. Um, right?
