And Kelly dressed for the occasion, with her FP colleagues noticing that her black and white ensemble perfectly complemented the checkered flag so beloved by their special guest, NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.
"We're thrilled to have you on the show. It wouldn't be the same for me and my wife [without you]," Gordon told her.
"Well, I'm glad to be back!" Kelly exclaimed as the studio erupted with applause.
Count us all thrilled to have Kelly back!
