David Brent is back!

After a nearly 10-year hiatus, The Office creator Ricky Gervais reprised the role of the obnoxious general manager of the Wernham Hogg Paper company branch from the British version of the show.

And it turns out Brent has his eyes set on a different career now…music.

In Friday night's classic 10-minute The Office Revisited special, which aired on the BBC during the Comic Relief Red Nose Day fundraiser, Brent revealed that while he's in the business of selling cleaning products now, he's been mainly "rapping" to support himself.

"I'm not going to kill that cash cow, ‘cause it helps me finance my other passions...my music, my recording, my short stories, podcasting," Brent said.

The self-proclaimed Simon Cowell also said he's been passing on "musical wisdom whilst making money from" the acts that he manages, one of whom we get the chance to meet.

So, tell us, what did you think of David Brent's return to TV?
