There's been recent a slowdown in the mile-a-minute world that is Taylor Swift's dating life.
And the singer seems to have acknowledged her single status in the "22" music video, which debuted March 13. In it, Swift wears U.K.-based designer Ashish Gupta's sequined top emblazoned with the phrase, "Not a lot going on at the moment" in the opening scene.
Not so subtle, Swifty! Paired with a sleek black topper and shorts, the roomy tee with its hard-to-miss disaffected message channels a more hipster-heavy vibe than the ladylike looks we're used to seeing Taylor sport. But it perfectly fits the music video, given the fact that Taylor croons, "It feels like a perfect night to dress up like hipster..."
And it appears Tay Tay's fans couldn't agree more, since the $895 shirt sold out online the very day the songbird unveiled the video. But fear not, because you too can advertise your uneventful state of affairs when high-end Parisian retailer Colette receives new stock of the Ashish tee in two weeks.
